During the summers of his collegiate career, Kevin started coaching as a way to continue to learn about the sport of track and field, become a better athlete himself, and (let's be honest) make a little cash. This developed into a passion for teaching younger athletes proper sprint mechanics and helping them reach their maximum potential. Since then Kevin has sought out ways to pass onto others the knowledge that he acquired through a series of great coaches. He's enjoyed being part of the Tribe since 2014 and considers it a privilege to e a part of a culture that pushes limits and shows people that they are capable of more than they thought they were.
I started coaching younger athletes in 2009 and have been doing so since then.
B.S. in Economics from The University of Virginia, 2012; MBA from The University of Oregon, 2014
Kevin grew up playing soccer, but discovered his love for track and field towards the end of high school which led him to UVA where he competed in all the sprint events, focusing mainly on the 400m and 4x400m relay. Through a series of events following graduation, he landed at Oregon where he finished off his collegiate career as an All American.
It depends on my mood, but I've been listening to a lot of Lecrae, NF, Andy Mineo, and KapSlap recently.
